Who is LXE?

With industry-leading technology—from detection to diagnosis to intervention—and exceptional clinical standards and scientific research, our goal is to make hearing health solutions more accessible and affordable for the estimated 44 million American adults who experience hearing loss.

What is an OTC hearing aid?

The FDA passed the OTC Hearing Aid Final Rule in 2022, which ultimately resulted in hearing aids being made available over the counter to adults with self-perceived mild to moderate hearing loss without a requirement for a prescription or professional fitting by a healthcare provider.

What is the difference between CIC and BTE hearing aids?

CIC (Completely-in-Canal) hearing aids are small and nearly invisible, fitting deep in the ear canal. They are commonly used for mild to moderate hearing loss. BTE (Behind-the-Ear) hearing aids are worn behind the ear and connect to an earpiece that sits in the ear canal. They are commonly used for mild to profound hearing loss.

What does 'self-fitting' mean?

OTC self-fitting hearing aids do not require traditional in-office visits for fittings or adjustments like traditional prescription hearing aids. With LXE's self-fitting products, use the mobile app for your device to adjust and self-fit to your hearing preferences.

What is your return policy?

You can return your devices within 45 days of delivery for a full refund.

Can I use an FSA/HSA for hearing aids?

Hearing aids are eligible for reimbursement with an FSA, HSA, and health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) (where applicable). You can use your FSA or HSA card at checkout, just like you would a regular credit card.
